This report was drafted by Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy staff after completion of our Neighborhood Inventory of the City of Saginaw. As a leader in Saginaw or throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region, we hope you will find it informative and helpful in your work.

The Neighborhood Inventory is a powerful new tool offered by the Conservancy. We believe that accurate, detailed, customized, and current land use data should be at the foundation of our regional decision making. This tool can be used to identify and target conservation opportunities, select sites for economic development, track progress against code violations over time, and better understand your community as it stands today. The process to develop the Neighborhood Inventory is rigorous and ongoing, and involves an in-person visit to every parcel in your community.

If you are interested in learning more about how the tool can work for you in your community, or to seek additional information about how you can better use the survey information from Saginaw, please reach out to Ted Lind, Director of Community Conservation here at the Conservancy at ted@sblc-mi.org.
